Meet OJ

OJ is a New Jersey based tattoo artist specializing in black and grey realism. He has been tattooing professionally since 2019, with his work centered around portraits, animals, statues, and detailed imagery that relies on strong contrast, texture, and depth.

OJ’s approach is rooted in realism, but guided by discipline and intention. Every tattoo is built to read clearly, heal properly, and hold up over time. Whether working on a portrait or a sculptural piece, the focus is always on accuracy, composition, and longevity; no shortcuts, no overworking, no unnecessary noise.

In 2025, OJ competed on Season 17 of Ink Master, where his work was pushed under pressure and judged at the highest level. The experience sharpened his process and reinforced the standards he already held himself to in the studio.
